David Levy-BoothAI × biology
01 About

I build systems for designing new molecules, mostly proteins. That has meant everything from sampling hot springs in the Canadian wilderness to building the cloud infrastructure that turns trillions of DNA measurements into experimentally validated proteins, and benchmarking frontier AI models for what they can and shouldn't do in biology.

The thing turning on this page is one of those designs: a binder for TNF-α, lit by how sure the model is.

Before this: a decade in microbial genomics, from lignin-eating bacteria to running a bioinformatics core.
